"Unfortunately the special attacks were setup by the programmers to only work with the keyboard. This was most likely done to avoid problems regarding the multitude of different types of joysticks used by computer gamers. Because a great number of PC joysticks are of the analog variety, they are not able to input the precise all or nothing movements that a keyboard or digital joystick would be able to do. Since analog movement is done in increments or degrees of "leftness" or "rightness" they would not be able to input the codes. For the next installment of Twisted Metal 3 for the PC, this problem should be remedied. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause during gameplay. Good luck."

Secret Characters | Secret Codes

The TM2 code system is set up by using a key password that allows all other codes to be entered. This opening key word is GLORIOUS. By typing this at anytime during the game (you will hear a sound when it's entered correctly) allows the use of other codes which are listed below.

Enter these codes using your keyboard (all caps is not necessary). If done correctly, you should hear an audible tone. These codes only work after GLORIOUS has been typed in.

Sell Your Soul (thanks to Chad Rogers)

During gameplay, enter this code using the arrow keys on your keyboard... Down, Up, Right, Left, Up, Up, Down, Down. You will then lose all of the weapons in your current inventory in return for additional life in your lifebar.

Demented Health Bonus

In any stage, running over 10 pedestrians with your vehicle will give you the Demented Health Bonus which adds life your lifebar. This only works if you run over them... you can't shoot them with machine guns or any other weapon (thanks to Justin Watanabe for the clarification).

This code only works in multiplayer games. Enter the DASBAK code (see Secret Locations for details on entering this code). Then, during gameplay, type SLEUTH. Now when you press the F5, F6, or F7 keys you see the game through the eyes of the other player.
